Dr. Ted Muilenburg was one of my instructors at West Virginia State University (Institute, West Virginia). I had taken a core therapeutic recreation course at state university because Marshall University (Huntington, WV) closed a course I needed to sit for the certification exam due to lack of students enrolling in the course. So, I drove to state university (About 45-mins.) twice a week to take his course. I appreicate state and Dr. Muilenburg a lot.

This conference will focus on the benefits of Community Gardening and the Therapeutic benefits of it for all people. Melissa Stewart is an experienced workshop leader and noted expert on developing community gardens. CEUS will be available for Social Workers, Nurses, Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, Activity Directors and others.
This conference is cooperatively sponsored by West Virginia State University Land Grant and Extension Service, Health and Human Performance and Leisure Studies and West Virginia Therapeutic Recreation Association.
Registration fee is 25.00 which covers CEUS and coffee breaks.
