Romney’s Theory Debunked.

We often hear members of the Republican Party announcing that they are against government handouts. Many Red-Republican states feel that they are grossly taxed (They put more money in the pot) and the income goes to support Blue-Democrat states (who put in less money).  In theory, the Red-States of America do not want to give to the Blue-States of America.

Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney was filmed saying during one of his fund-raisers, “There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what … who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims. … These are people who pay no income tax. … and so my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”
This was not true for West Virginia.

According to The Exponent Telegram, “West Virginia tops in income recipients with disabilities.” An average of In West Virginia, 41.7 percent of the residents receive government money for disabilities. However, West Virginia did not vote for Presidnet Obama as Mitt Romney suggested.
West Virginia was a Red/ Republican state in the last election.
